Healthy Foods, Healthy Lives Institute

Her responsibilities include development and expansion of our media efforts, outreach and communications for our grant programs, and assisting with planning symposia and other events. Hannah comes to the Institute with experience managing communications, event planning, and funding efforts at the University (Weisman Art Museum, Theatre Arts & Dance) and for several local small businesses. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Studio Art, focusing on art theory and creating work about the body, mental health, and social class. She was introduced to food systems through local and international art exhibitions, Slow Food MN, and Ames Bee Farm. She now sits on the Food & Housing Insecurity Committee hosted by Boynton and the Office for Student Affairs and is a member of the Minnesota Food Access Network.
