Faculty Planning Grant Program
The Faculty Planning Grant Program (fall funding cycle) supports the development of University interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research teams related to food, nutrition, and health. Planning Grant award recipients must work towards the preparation and submission of a grant proposal in the spring HFHL funding cycle OR proposals may be prepared and submitted to other equivalent University sources, as well as major government or private sources.

Fall 2019 Faculty Planning Grant Program Timeline
• Request for proposals released: Wednesday, August 21st, 2019
• Planning Grant Proposal due: Wednesday, November 20th, 2019
• Awards announced: Friday, December 20th, 2019
• Funding commences (subject to change*): Monday, January 6th, 2020
• Project end date (subject to change**): Friday, June 12th, 2020
• Final report due (subject to change**): Wednesday, July 15th, 2020
