Faculty Planning Grant Program

Faculty members discussing with each other_version 2The Faculty Planning Grant Program (fall funding cycle) supports the development of University interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research teams related to food, nutrition, and health. Planning Grant award recipients must work towards the preparation and submission of a grant proposal in the spring HFHL funding cycle OR proposals may be prepared and submitted to other equivalent University sources, as well as major government or private sources.

Request for proposals released: Wednesday, September 5th, 2018

Planning Grant Proposal due: Wednesday, November 21st, 2018

Interview notification and scheduling (if selected) begins: Wednesday, November 28th, 2018

Interviews: Monday, December 10th 2018 - Friday, December 21st, 2018

Awards announced: Friday, January 4th, 2018

Funding commences (subject to change*): Monday, January 14th, 2019

Project end date (subject to change**): Friday, June 14th, 2019

Final report due (subject to change**): Wednesday, July 19th, 2019
